The term rainbow baby may not be familiar to people who haven’t experienced a loss. But to those of us who have, it has a very deep and even life-changing significance. A rainbow baby “is a baby born after a miscarriage, stillborn, or neonatal death.” It is called a rainbow baby because it is like a rainbow after a storm: something beautiful after something scary and dark.”

I am so excited for Chris & Nikita as the time to meet their little rainbow baby is almost here! We spent a wonderful afternoon together capturing this special time in the lifes. Thank you so much for the privilege to be part of this amazing experience! I cannot wait to meet little Miané.
