My name is Rozette Botha, I am a wedding & lifestyle photographer based in Johannesburg, Gauteng, but do not mind traveling!

I am passionate about life and even more about photography. What I love about photographs is that they capture those special moments and events, moments which are gone forever and cannot be relived, but only the memories remain.

To me… memories are very important and to capture those special moments during your travels on your life journey is something I treasure! Capturing that awesome brilliant smile, surprised expression or even that small frown on your loved one’s face is so special as these emotions is part of what makes them unique and loved!

I have been interested in photography from a young age and as a child used to snap away with my point and shoot camera, now I take my photography more seriously, but with the same enthusiasm and passion!

I am mostly a self-taught photographer, but did attend a few courses to learn some of the do’s and don’ts of the trade! I do a lot of reading and follow various photographers’ blogs and websites. I learn by example and practise what I read. In the photography world there is always something new to learn and try.

I am a lifestyle photographer and have a very relaxed approach to my photography and shoot, on-location at your home, a park or mutually agreed location.

This site is more than just a website – it’s a website and my blog. I don’t only post about client shoots on my blog but from time to time I will blog about my photography in general which will include both my client shoots and personal photography.
